We have a quantity of 2kVA transformers that failed to meet our acoustical noise specifications. The very closely match the current version of our Q-type transformers but some of them make a slight acoustical hum in some locations. We still have a few of these 20-amp versions left in our warehouse. These transformers normally sell for twice the price, but we need to reclaim the space and so they are priced to move fast. Transformer Sale - We are offering factory second transformers that were passed up for a larger core version chosen for our "Son of Q" models. They are as accurate as any transformer we've ever made but they are just a bit lighter in weight. This will not be a problem for lighter front end loads such as CD players and a/v processors. They will deliver up to 10 Amps of clean undistorted AC power for sensitive front end electronics in the most sophisticated A/V systems. They power video processors and displays with improved clarity as well and they provide an extremely low noise floor for high gain audio components. These transformers come installed in a NEMA 1 steel enclosure with landing terminals for easy hook up. Model 30NZ6-150VLB - Neptune Series isolation transformer that was returned to us because of an engineering error in specificaions for a specific jobsite. It has a 480-Volt 3-phase input (used in commercial areas) and outputs 120-Volts, perfectly balanced into 3 separate 100-Amp single-phase breaker panels. Special Price: $4,000

Model 1R-J - Identical product to Model 1R but with 8% voltage boost. Originally these units were intended for use in Japan and the Caribbean where common AC power is 100 Volts and where North American gear designed for 115-120V is to be used. They are also very useful in areas of the US where the voltage is low. (<110V-115V) They will correct low voltage situations and output a nominal 120V. They are not to be used in North America where the local line voltage is typically in excess of 110V. If this recommendation is not followed, tubes and power supplies will be short lived. However, these "J" units can be very useful where lower supply voltage (100V - 110V) is all that is availble and North American equipment designed for 115-120V power is to be used.
